The Perfect gift - Daniel Wellington watch

As Christmas is just around the corner, shopping malls will be flooded with people doing their last minute shopping for gifts or for those who are not will probably take advantage of the seasonal discounts. So have you gotten your gift for your love ones yet? If you haven't, I suggest u should be right now.

As for me, my Christmas gift came much early this year.
And it's been something that I'm waiting eagerly to tick off from my check list.

...it's a Daniel Wellington watch !

You don't know how much I adore this timepiece.
Simple, classic, minimalistic.
I love how their straps are interchangeable. From leather to Nato strap or vice versa. Perfect for any occasion from casual to formal. They have different designs and colors of strap to choose from, talking about spoiled for choice !

I took advantage of their Christmas promotion whereby if you buy a leather strap watch you'll get 50% off for the Nato strap + free gift wrapping + free shipping. How good does that sound?
I thought of buying it from Zalora. But after doing my research, buying direct from Daniel Wellington website is much more worth it (with their promotion) although Zalora offer cheaper price (*foreign exchange rate).

They delivered it by using UPS, and surprisingly it took 3 days for them to deliver it from their warehouse in Hong Kong to my house.
I ordered it on a Wednesday 1am, and it came on Friday 6pm. Fast service I would say. They even provide tracking number for you to track your parcel.

I initially wanted to get Glasgow strap but unfortunately it was sold out. (WHY?!)
So I end up getting Oxford Rose Gold strap and Classic Bristol Lady in Rose Gold.
It was a really hard time for me to choose what leather strap I want though. Classic Sheffield or Bristol? But I already had a black watch so might as well go for a dark brown one (which give off a vintage feel in it) .

Overall, I like how thin the watch is (6mm) and how minimalistic it is. But one thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a second hand which is hard to judge whether it is still working or not.
