Hong Kong trip [continued].. Part 4

Day 4
Day 4 falls on Valentine's day, which is also the day when my cousin got married !
So it was a busy day from morning to night.
Not gonna post much pictures of my cousin's wedding due to privacy purposes

So as you know the modern chinese way of marriage usually start off in the morning where the bride and her bridesmaids get ready early before the arrival of the groom to play the chinese wedding door game. This Chinese Wedding Door Game are actually 'obstacles' made up by the bridesmaids for the groom and his bestmen to get pass it in order for the groom to meet his bride. This usually happens when the groom and his bestmen arrived at the bride's house. But in my cousin's case, since her house is too small (Hong Kong houses are just too small..) they decided to do it in a hotel room instead. The hotel that my cousin chose was W hotel.

W hotel, is located at Austin Rd in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Rated as 5 star by many which is agreeable since the interior is so posh and when you step in it definitely has that 5 star kinda feel. The staff are very helpful and polite too !

Above is actually the elevator corridor to the guest room in W hotel.  Between the elevators there are shelves filled with 'fake' white books and antique items as decoration, so it gives off a very luxury kind of feel in it.

My cousin took the Marvelous Suite, which is big enough for them to get ready and play the games.
Frankly speaking, this is my very first time entering a suite, haha. And I was so fascinated by it.

For more pictures on the guest room, visit W hotel's website :

Below are just a few random shots taken during the wedding day.

Day 5
[combining day 5 together since there's not much to post]
Day 5 is my last day in Hong Kong. Basically we went looking around Wan Chai area and Causeway Bay area. We went there via Star ferry but it was very foggy so I couldn't take much photographs of the skyscapers.

Stumble upon this small room outside Timesquare where they showcase many colorful lion heads.

My last dinner in Hong Kong, Pizza Express !

So that sums up my Hong Kong trip.
I did enjoy myself since it was my first time there.
Would definitely go back again, maybe for more shopping and eating since I've more or less make myself familiar to the areas in Hong Kong.

till then,
