Was craving for steamboat today eventhough the weather is extremely bloody hot.
My usual steamboat place would be Suki-ya @ paradigm or Mizi shabu shabu @ Puchong. But this time, screw those two I'M FEELING ADVENTUROUS TODAY.
My cousin suggested to bring us to 有骨气 bone & pot @ damansara uptown.
They have several branches which I only know there's one at uptown and kelana jaya.
*This place is not set or buffet style steamboat
but an a la carte steamboat where you just order from the menu.
plus its NON-HALAL.
so whats so nice about this place?
First, the soup/broth they used is DELICOUS !
They have a few selections for the soup but we went for their signature pork broth (RM15) which they actually use pork bone with meat on it to boil it to make the broth.
They throw in some corn, spring onion and lobak (white raddish) to enhance the flavour of the broth.
I have to say I really enjoy the soup .
Very delicious
We ordered pork slice and they are fresh.
RM12.5
They serve lamb and chicken too.
This! is something special that i've never seen before.
Homemade fish paste noodle.
They put it in a piping bag for you to squeeze it out into the pot.
Not bad.
RM9.90
Top : some balls with cheese inside.
Bottom : Ball with crab roe
both not bad .
Golden fried tofu
This dish is just average for me.
The outside is golden and crispy but inside is soft.
The inside is tasteless as they use japanese tofu to fry it. So yeah.. I don't like fried tofu that is tasteless in the inside.
RM5.8
So will I come back for more?
Definately ! Because I LOVE the soup so much !
I drank quite alot of it though.. more than my tea.. LOL!
-Overall rating-
Food : 8/10
Enviroment : 8/10
Service : 8/10
-NON HALAL-
